CMC Arthroscopy

The carpometacarpal joints are the joints between the hand bones (metacarpals) and the wrist bones (carpals). Problems with these joints can be treated by arthroscopic surgery which involves insertion of a narrow tube-like instrument through which the inside of joint can be viewed and operated on.
