Revision Carpal Tunnel and Cubital Tunnel Surgery

Carpal and cubital tunnel syndromes are caused due to compression of nerves by surrounding structures and produce symptoms such as pain, tingling and weakness. Severe symptoms may be treated by surgery to release the nerves, but the condition can recur due to the formation of scar tissue. Revision carpal and cubital tunnel surgery usually involves removal of scar tissue around the nerves and improvement of the blood supply to the area.
